Hi people! I'm so bored right now.  Forgive me for the 2 weeks hiatus! Many things had happened during these past 2 weeks(sleepovers, a 5-day trip to KL, more sleepovers and my Starbucks training course) However, sad to say that there'll be less updates as school's re-opening on the 20th, which is just 5 days away? Golly, I don't feel very accomplished yet. xD

Yeap, Starbucks training course! I'm quite certain I've been accepted by the company already to work at the store at Liang Court in Clarke Quay. So I'll be doing school and work at the same time. I really don't know how I'd cope with that... and I spent like 10 minutes talking with Dr. Chooi(my form teacher) about this matter yesterday. I have no reason to doubt his worries cus I'd been super slack during the first semester.

Oh oh the Kuala Lumpur trip was SWELL! I wish I'd brought more moolah there. The last few days i was financially depending on Aiting, Tonia and Afro. Didn't get all that i wanted there but I'm still satisfied with all that I bought.

The highlights of the trip was definitely at Camp5, the reggae bar, the shisha, and the shopping.

Camp 5 is definitely climber's paradise. It's an indoor climbing centre located on top of One Utama, which is a kick-ass shopping centre that you should visit sometime. The high walls and bouldering was like huge and they also had this simulated-natural cracked wall! All there were on that wall was contours, crevices, ledges and crimps which made it absolutely challenging but fun! It's a pity we couldn't climb at the cliffs near the Batu caves, but the cracked wall made up for it. (:

The shopping was great. Same product quality as with Singapore, it's cheaper, and there's so much more variety. Makes it all good. And the fact that Hari Raya just passed, there was like sales everywhere. Dickies was selling jeans for less than 40 ringgit, which translates to around S$18? I was upset though that they didn't sell their bags there. We went to this night bazaar at Chinatown, but ironically, all the peddlers were Thai instead of Chinese? I was honestly intimidated by all them sellers. I can't bargain for nuts. Gotta thank Tonia and John for their excellent bargaining skills! Got me a belt for $15 ringgit (omgz!!11)

Alright right to our indulging moments. I liked the reggae bar very much. It's located somewhere near the Chinatown... and I'd be very embarrassed to go back in there again. After i threw up on the table and alll. *sheepish grin* The drinks there are really inexpensive so it's all good. It's a really small, crowded bar. Not much of a dancefloor though. There were posters of Bob Marley and The Wailers framed all over the walls. (x
Shisha was awesome. Was really yummy and the smoke wasn't choking like I find in singapore. We had it in a Lebanese restaurant near our lodge, the Pondok Lodge. Think it was either 14 or 17 or 19 ringgit for the shisha. I don't know. And the waiters were all pleasant.

Well I guess that is it for the KL trip. The Starbucks training course wasn't as boring as i expected it to be. It's really fun actually! Met a few people like Denz, Nathalie, and Jason. Interesting people, really. Jason is a Malaysian with a hot angmoh girlfriend, Nathalie is Thai and she's younger and smaller than me(like fun-size haha no jk) and Denz used to date someone from my sec school and he has a smiley.

I still have this course for today and tomorrow. I missed the 1st lesson, so I was re-scheduled to take it on friday with a new batch of people. *Hope I don't bore myself to death -cross fingers-*
